Highly recommend staying here! I spent 8 weeks at this residence and I had a wonderful experience. Ashley and Zack were excellent, very friendly hosts. The house has plenty of space and is constantly getting upgrades.
The neighborhood felt safe and the commute to working on base was the best part! I would highly recommend staying at this location whether for vacation or for long term. The host waited for me to arrive and explained the maigrir en utilisant le miel 634 of all amenities, and what their schedule would be for the duration of my stay.
I was able to come and go for my visit without any delay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, yet within reach of everything the area has to offer. Future travelers should expect the overall aesthetics the home, the outdoors, natural environment, etc. A lovely location that allows for relaxation and downtime. The lot is situated perfectly and is large enough for many activities. The private beach area is beautiful and the kids love playing in the water, but look out for snakes!
David is very accommodating with requests and us always available via email. We really enjoy coming here and are looking to book our next visit! Beautiful quiet location. Enjoyed the large yard leading to the water and the private beach area. Lovely, comfortable home. If you want peace, quiet and commune with nature this is the place.
It was food for our soul. We watched eagles fish and soar, a blue heron graced the property and the sunrise was gorgeous. We enjoyed the views of the ever changing Potomac from the porch and rarely left except for a dining experience at Coles Point Tavern and Art of Coffee. Wonderful Home, and a very helpful and responsive host. Would definitely visit again for a fun week or weekend getaway! This beautiful spot in northern neck is a little slice of Heaven!
My family and I loved the water views, the intimate, private beach where my small daughter could play safely, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere of this home. David was a wonderful host - offering lots of detail and the perfect accoutrements for enjoying a stay on the water. We will definitely be back again for more memories here! Our friends loved the beach, the spacious bedrooms and of course, Coles Point!
Highly recommend. We had a group of 8 adults stay there for a friends' weekend, and everyone was able to have an actual bed though one of us did choose to stay on the ultra-comfy couch and enough space for a great weekend of relaxation and activity. The kitchen is amazing, with space enough for 8 people to clean up dinner, and open enough that you're not cut out of the conversation if you're making dinner. There's tons of outdoor space and fun games to play bean bag toss!!
The beach is rocky, as they say, but we had a great time there. David was extremely communicative before and during the stay. Although we had no problems, I was sure if we did he would be available to help fix them. The house was perfect for our annual weekend, and we're already talking about reserving carriage rides cincinnati again for next year!
Not only was this location amazing, but the hospitality and amenities Susan offered our group were incredible. Susan was very responsive and went above and beyond to be accommodating.
Would absolutely recommend. Beautiful home, breathtaking views and an amazing host with tons of personal touches. Definitely will be back!! We celebrated my birthday out here, and it was the perfect spot! Kayaking, lawn games, beautiful scenery - the perfect weekend getaway.
Susan was super responsive and very helpful in the process. We definitely discussed making this trip again! Great home for a big group. Susan was a great host, leaving the right level of instructions. She offers a lot of activities to enjoy the river - even to take us out on her boat! While we had other plans, it shows how she cared out about her guests having a great time.
Susan's place was wonderful. It was easy to get to, easy parking, and a beautiful, relaxed, convenient experience. Enough beds, enough space, enough kitchen supplies, enough common areas, very few stairs, a safe open huge lawn for playing with toys and sports, for wading pools, for badminton - it was perfect.
The chickens in a coop about fifty feet from the side of the house - was our favorite part. Adult and babies loved the sweet chickens. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well - and was easily adjustable. Susan was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind and I do feel like we made a new friend. We will definitely be staying there again if we can make our schedules work with a larger gang again. We were there for only two nights and it wasn't enough. Thanks for everything, Susan!
Susan's place is marvelous. I spent my 30th birthday here with 8 of my close friends. Highly recommended! We were a mostly tame group of nine guys on a bachelor weekend. Susan was game and took a chance on us. More than that, she made sure that our multiple carloads of people knew how to get to the house and what to do when there. The house was great had a fun, eclectic vibe and spot on with the description.
A very positive experience all around! Our group included young children, they really enjoyed running around and playing in the large yard. Susan lives on-site and offered local tips.
We used the crab pots and also purchased blue crabs and had a feast outside on the deck with a view of the water.
The kayaks available for use were very convenient. The house was very clean and spacious. It has beatiful view from the upstair balcony and our girls took a lot of picture from there. We loved kayaking and kanoeing. The screen porch looks great for nice weather.
This was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. All of the preliminary communication was on point. What was unexpected was how well the house fit the family.
The age range was from 2 to 83, and everyone had a space to do what they wanted. Coles Point Marina is literally a stone's throw away, and it was a great place to keep our boat during our stay. We had easy access and there are nice amenities at the marina as well. Clean, peaceful, great house for a big family. The screen porch opens to the living room and creates a wonderful space. The property at Blackbeard Pond Road is a must stay.
You will be thrilled that you made the right selection. The quality of this home and the privacy along with an "Outstanding" view of the pond is priceless. We would rate this property a 10 out of This is the place for those who want to enjoy a "lovely" view of the water along with privacy. Great home away from home.
We highly recommend you make this location your next getaway. Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Paddle cellulite treatment khloe kardashian chirurgie the pond to an idyllic completely private sandy beach right on the Potomac.
Would love to return! Beautiful new house on waterfront with dock and great views of inlet and river. Very picturesque. Screened in porch and gas grill. Pick up some ice there is not an ice maker but there's a large freezer. There is no wifi but great dish tv service was great for the football game! It's very quiet and peaceful there. We loved it! The pictures don't do the house justice.
It's even more beautiful and comfortable. It's so peaceful, relaxing and private out on the pond. Or take out the canoe and kayaks for a little more adventure.
The kitchen has everything you need and more. There are more than enough linens for a large group. We didn't want for anything during our stay and look forward to coming back. Christina's home is set in the perfect place for a quiet weekend away! The pond behind the house is a great kayaking spot the house has 2 single kayaks and the pier, perfect for bird watching, gives the house a private feel.
We also enjoyed visiting the local wineries and sampling some really good wines. But the hostess Susan was extraordinarily helpful friendly communicative and could not of been more supportive. Our host was very flexible and accommodating, as our drive took longer than we had expected and we arrived late.
We enjoyed the peaceful water views and gorgeous sunsets and had a great time exploring the back roads on the bikes which were made available. The blackberry patch in back provided a tasty snack and coffee the next morning was nice too!
Our stay here was wonderful! Susan's cottage is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean, with such a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
And the view from the master bedroom just can't be beat! We watched one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen from the end of the boat dock, and only had to look out the window of the master bedroom each morning to watch an equally gorgeous sunrise.
Susan is a wonderful host, treating us to freshly-laid eggs each morning and inviting us along on a bicycle ride around the island. This stay truly exceeded our expectations -- highly recommended. A very nice oasis with wonderful water views! Really nice that there are kayaks and bikes to use during a stay here as well. My only thought is that the bedroom was a little musty which is hard for me with my air quality environmental sensitivity.
Susan's waterfront home is a nice oasis away from the busy world. The house is homy and artsy, the master bedroom has a great view, and Susan will explain the kayaks and other amenities at your disposal. For the colder days there is a nice gas fireplace.
The local area has some scenic bay views and restaurants, but you may have to travel north to the Solomons for more to do 30 min. I'm too lazy to write two reviews, so I'll just paste in the personal version: We just loved your place! We are collectors of a sort and really appreciated the care and taste that the house displays. If we only had any space left in our house, we would steal the idea of old window sashes for cabinet fronts.
Kathy took advantage of the bikes and kayaks, and was really grateful for the opportunity--I was more sedentary, reading about the history of Saint Mary's County. Your own welcoming and generous nature was a further plus to a lovely weekend. This is starting to sound like a shameless blurb, but we mean it! We're planning to repeat for next year's granddaughter graduation!
Susan was very accommodating to our schedule and allowed us to come in late to enjoy Annapolis longer. The room was very clean and private and the home had a lot of character! Susan was a very welcoming host. Explained us everything around. The place is quite and private.
The house with it's history, many books and old piano made us sometimes feel that we are in the museum. Kayaking, fishing and swimming are also available. Table tennis in the backyard and fireplace where you can cook BBQ. Overall - amazing experience for couple or the family.
I would recommend this place and Susan to my friends. Will be back for sure. This was an entirely pleasant stay. The room and cottage is nicely furnished very clean and comfortable.
The view from the cottage is spectacular and the host was helpful and welcoming in every way. Ospreys and birds of every kind everywhere. We will return certainly.
Wonderful place. Lots of interesting antiques inside. It was very comfortable, making the time spend there very relaxing. We used the canoes a couple of times. High cost performance, waterfront house, grill, crabing, kayak, fishing. A good place to spend a weekend. Susan's place is beautifully situated on St. Thanks Susan, we had a great night! Unfortunately we had rain most of our stay but the place was more than we expected. There was a nice living room, dining table and kitchen you can use which would be great if you can stay longer.
Susan's place is quite unique and is in a great location. Beautiful views even with the rain. If the weather is warm or sunny Susan has kayaks you can use, so we really hope to come back with better weather. We could not arrive for the 3pm check in and we had good communication with Susan to coordinate best time for arrival.
We shared the place with another couple who rented the other room. Another peaceful night on St. George's Island. Glad it was a bit cooler outside so we could enjoy the veranda. Rideaux pas cher haguenau again. Warmest regards to you. This place is awesome!! You stay in a great house antique maigrir des mollets grossesse zara and surrounded by beautiful nature.
You can enjoy the evening in front of the water or kayak. And if you are lucky, Susan, who is a great host, serves you fresh crabs from the lake. Thanks a lot, Susan! Beautiful location on the water. Nice to have the kayaks available to visit the beach near Cherryfield Point. Susan was a terrific host, accessible, on the lookout to help, and personally very friendly and communicative.
Her beautifully-appointed place was a joy to be in, the view of the Potomac estuary breathtaking, and the whole experience sublime! A full kitchen, excellent cookware, plenty of dishes, glasses, great stove Stock up on produce from roadside stands en route for a gourmet touch!
